Phoenix Production Company: Retail Murals
The kind folks at The Science Project creative agency in New York City commissioned us to create the mural artwork for the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall renovation. Their request was straight forward… 4 iconic Arizona landscape images produced in ultra high resolution as some of the installations would be up to 50 feet wide. We wasted no time in suggesting several local landmarks. Once the locations were approved by the client we scouted for the best time of day for each spot and went about making the photographs. We shot the landscapes in multiple images and then stitched them together to maximize resolution. Some of the pieces were upwards of 30,000 pixels wide.
Result: Our client was happy and their client was as well. The work is now fully installed in the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall and will be up for the next several years. Below are some photos of how the work is being utilized to bring the space to life.
